6th to 21st April is National Parks Fortnight.
The National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act was passed in 1949 resulting in the first National Parks in the UK being designated in 1951, this year sees the 70th anniversary of the passing of that Act.
As signs of Spring are popping up all over, what better time could there be to get out and explore Devon’s two National Parks, which were amongst the first to be designated with Dartmoor in 1951 and Exmoor in 1954. Find out what is happening at our National Parks in the next few weeks:
