Goren Farm was an extensive dairy farm up until 1990, but since then, the fields have been set to hay meadows to develop a natural balance with nature.
They also manage the hedgerows in a way that allow wildlife to thrive, providing shelter for the farm animals, and also giving them wood for heating. They have a small herd of Ruby Red Devon cattle and a flock of Polled Dorset sheep to graze the meadows, helping to restore ecological balance in the fields.
The wildflower meadows are open to the public during the summer period, with events held over the weekends. Goren also collaborat3s with the National Garden Scheme during June, with all proceeds going to charity.
