Over the past two weeks the BBC 1 drama series “The Coroner” has been highlighting some of the stunning scenery of the South Devon coast . Set in the fictional town of Lighthaven, in reality Dartmouth, many of the scenes around the Coroner’s office in “Lighthaven” can be explored from “The Dart Circuit” Trail.
However, the Coroner gets called to solve cases along much of the South Hams coast. Why not visit some of these fantastic locations for yourself? Many of the walks detailed on Explore Devon, including the long distance South West Coast Path National Trail will allow you to visit this area on foot . Also featured in the first week’s episodes are many locations that can be explored close up through some of the featured short walks including “A Walk in Hope”, “Beside the Seaside at Blackpool”, “Wembury, Wembury, Here we Come” and “Fish, Penguins and a Lighthouse” .
